New Community Leadership Foundation provides financial and technical resources to change makers - working in the arts, non-profit and for-profit small businesses - to strengthen disenfranchised communities in San Francisco.  In 2020 they had hoped to hold an event commemorating the anniversary of Jonestown when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.   Design students worked collaboratively with NCLF to create a virtual tribute memorial for the event.   First, they worked on branding and identity to create visually pleasing pieces while maintaining historical accuracy with the appropriate tone.  In addition to the website, students create flyers and advertising for the event.
