SOMCAN Voting Guide

Voter guide & mailers 

Fall 2020

South of Market Community Action Network |(SOMCAN) nurtures the lives of youth, families, individuals and workers in the SOMA district specifically focusing on the immigrant and Filipino communities providing culturally competent services and empowerment.  Working with SOMCAN, students created voter guides and informational mailers to encourage voting in the 2020 local San Francisco elections.  Students worked on a variety of formats including door hangers, flyers and brochures.  Additional work was done on the organization's website and digital platforms.  In order to best serve those in the SOMCAN neighborhood, the materials were designed to include three languages.
